Kristen & Jack's Visit

Kristen and Jack came on the 30th and left today :( ...but it was a good visit while it lasted! Lots of Grandma & Grandpa bonding with Jack and Dad and daughter as well!
Jack took to flying with no problems and spent the afternoon meeting his Great grandma Corrine.
A meet and greet pizza night with St Martin friends then the community breakfast, a bar-b-que on Saturday night and finally all the Murphys (and a Carten) came for a Sunday seafood brunch ...pics of the day...the photographer was cooking!...Carmel?
....on Monday we rested!
But they will be back in July!

Ingredients

4 demitasse cups(I use 6 espresso cups)
2/3 cup whole milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons sugar
A pinch of salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons (or more!) Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur) or dark rum
1 cup whipping cream(I put unwhipped heavy cream in mini milk pitchers for self pouring)
2 tablespoons sugar
Edible flowers (found in produce department) or candied violets, for garnish (optional)...nahhhh

Yields: 4 servings in demitasse cups, 2 servings in tea cups (Way too rich for a full tea cup!!)

Preparation

Heat milk in a small pan over moderate heat until it comes to a boil.

Using the low setting on a blender or food processor, combine the egg, sugar, salt, chocolate chips and liqueur. Pour in the boiling milk in a slow stream (the hot milk will cook the egg and melt the chocolate). Process or blend 1 minute, until smooth.
